FINE ART
Bold blossoms, voluptuous bouquets, and sumptuous botanicals and maximalist paintings are a signature of Jaclyn. Developed with beautiful transparent layers of acrylic paints that stain the canvas, then are filled with sweeps of colour in her free style. The pieces are indelibly linked to her through the music playing while she paints. Jaclyn experiences joy while creating and hope that her art conveys happiness to you.
ILLUSTRATION
Whimsical designs are the order for Jaclyn’s illustrations. Working primarily on her iPad, Jaclyn tickles the realm of imagination as she does when she’s painting. Everything is skewed just a touch so that there’s a sense of familiarity linking back, perhaps to your childhood. Jaclyn has recently started combining her pen work with her fine art, creating for her a new genre.
SURFACE DESIGN
Jaclyn is a maximalist in her surface design, as she is with her painting. Jaclyn’s patterns generally are a bold collaboration of simple layers that fit together perfectly filling the surface. Jaclyn loves designing a pattern for a particular item, so that she is able to customized her art to fit the surface of the item.
